St. Louis Community College honored the Mehlville School District for having the highest number of students participating in dual enrollment courses. Currently, 169 students from Mehlville High School and Oakville High School are enrolled in dual enrollment courses, collectively earning 1,723 credit hours this school year.
“Through various programs and partnerships, our students have the ability to test-drive careers in professional settings, earn industry credentials in specific areas of concentration and complete apprenticeship prerequisites to accelerate the path to employment,” said John Dewalle, director of college and career readiness, in a news release from the district.
